Lane County Parks are picturesque and serene. They’re the perfect place to relax, play and stay awhile. If you’re living in Florence or just visiting, these parks are something that need to become a part of your life.
Harbor Vista Park offers 15 acres of tent and recreational vehicle camping all year long. It is one of the few campgrounds on the Oregon coast with an ocean view, perched above the North Jetty of the Sinuslaw River. You can find Harbor Vista located 3 miles north of Florence on North Jetty Road.

Sand Master Park is THE place for sandboarding as it’s the world’s FIRST sandboard park! This park is 40 acres of privately owned sculpted sand dunes with a diverse selection of beginner and advanced slopes. You can take sandboarding lessons here, rent sandboards or sleds, try a thrilling dune buggy ride, learn the art of sand sculpting or glass blowing and just have a ton of fun!
Honeyman State Park can be found three miles south of Florence and is the state’s second largest overnight camp in the state. Between the park and the ocean, you’ll find two miles of sand dunes and two fresh water lakes are within the park. Cleawox Lake is perfect for swimming and Woahink Lake has a boat ramp and is used for all water sports.
This is a camp for all seasons. During the summer, you’ll see tons of family reunion. Fall brings pickers of huckleberries and blackberries. Winter is the time when off road vehicle users can access the sand dunes from H Loop and Spring is the time to come see the pink rhododendrons in bloom!
