Heceta Beach is an unincorporated community in Lane County, Oregon and one of the most gorgeous beaches you can find along the Florence Oregon coast. It is truly a Pacific Northwest wonder that should be on everyone’s bucket list.
At Heceta Beach, you can spend hours upon hours simply exploring and splashing in the waves while taking in the supreme beauty of the Oregon coastline. Just south of Heceta Beach, you can see the Siuslaw River jetties and to the north, Baker Beach!
Fine dining can be found just a quick jaunt down the beach at the Driftwood Shores. It’s the perfect spot for a romantic candlelight dinner with your love while watching the moon sink behind the ocean waves.
Heceta View is near other huge Oregon attractions such as the Sea Lion Cave, the Heceta Head Light House and Old Town Florence. The Sea Lion Cave is the only one of its kind in America and the Light House is the most photographed light house in all the world! It’s all certainly something to talk about while enjoying a cup of coffee at one of Florence’s fine bistros.
For all you dune junkies with your off-roaders, Heceta Beach is the heart of the Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area. There are also quiet hiking trails nearby and estuaries and hills that lead to the beach. There’s truly all kinds of activities to be had here…..Biking , Boating, Canoeing, Cinemas, Fishing, Fitness Center, Golf, Hiking, Horseback, Kayaking, Live Theater, Mountain Biking, Museums, Nature Walking Trails, Restaurants, Sailing, Shopping, Sightseeing, Snorkling / Diving, Surfing, Tennis, Water-skiing, Wildlife Viewing, Windsurfing….you can live it up at Heceta Beach!
