Oregon Coast Real Estate
The Oregon Coast is a place that many people dream about living in. Here you find some of the most amazing beaches and outdoor recreation in the world. This stretch of what many call paradise runs along the entire west side of the state bounded by the Pacific Ocean on the west and the Oregon Coast Range of mountains on the east.
The Oregon coast is referred to in three different sections:
- The North Coast which is the area from the Columbia River to Cascade Head
- The Central Coast stretching from Cascade Head to Reedsport
- The South Coast stretching from Reedsport to the border of California
We specialize in Central Oregon Coast Real Estate and call Florence our home. Florence is south of the larger town of Newport and sits on the mouth of the Siuslaw River. Florence is known as the gateway to the Oregon Dunes national Recreation Area, a 48 mile stretch of breathtaking sand dunes that draw in dune buggy drivers and sand boarders for all over. Florence sits on the northern edge of this unique sandscape where you can find dunes up to 500 feet high. Florence is also home to the largest sea lion cave in the world. Hikers will always find a new trail to explore because there are countless paths to explore.
Community is a big part of Florence and its neighboring towns. Florence is known as one of the friendliest places. In this town everyone knows everyone and it is like a small town movie. Many who live here like to get involved in town matters and love living in Florence. Florence was number two on Niche’s 2016 list of best places to retire in Oregon. In 2004 Florence was voted the #1 city to retire in America and was featured in many places including on the Today Show.
Real estate on the coast is varied. Of course, there are many great luxury beach bluff properties to be found. If you are looking for a dream coastal property, the Central Oregon coast will have one. There are also great retirement communities for buyers looking to settle into a relaxed pace and build community with their neighbors. There is not just the ocean to consider for water front properties either; find a lake home on one of the many lakes among the mountain foothills or live along the Siuslaw River. There are newer construction homes available as well as historic and enchanting properties. Want a home with low maintenance? There are plenty of great condos and townhomes to choose from. If a golfing community is what you are after there is one of those here too at Ocean Dunes Link and Sandpines.
One thing is for sure it is not hard to fall in love with the Oregon Coast and want to find a home here. Whatever reason you are searching for Oregon Coast real estate, we can help you find a property that best meets your needs and even your dreams.
